Holiday Shipping Cutoffs
Know when you need to place your orders to ensure they’ll be delivered in time.
We cannot guarantee holiday delivery for furniture and other large items delivered by truck.
Shipping To An International Country?
Shipping Types
Our products are delivered in the following ways:
- Front Door Parcel Delivery (e.g., UPS, USPS) to your delivery address
- Local pickup from a UPS Access Point. Never miss a delivery again by selecting UPS Access Point at checkout. You will receive an email notification when your order has arrived at the chosen location, and you can then pickup within 5 days at a time convenient to you.
- Truck Delivery for most furniture and other items that exceed parcel carrier shipping weight limits; usually includes our Premium White Glove service and Unlimited Items for a Flat Rate fee
- Pick up from a local store with Ship to Store delivery
Front Door Parcel Delivery
Standard Shipping
Front Door items ship from our warehouse and arrive within 2-3 business days of receiving your order.
Some items sent directly from our suppliers may take longer, and items ordered together may not arrive in the same box.
Next Day Shipping
For an extra charge of $26 per address we can arrange for next day delivery to most destinations within the contiguous 48 states.
If we receive your order by 6pm PT Monday through Friday, you’ll receive your order the next business day; orders placed Friday after 6pm PT through Sunday will arrive on Tuesday.
Truck Delivery
Unlimited Flat Rate Shipping
With Unlimited Flat Rate Shipping, an unlimited number of eligible furniture and select non-furniture items can be delivered for a single flat rate, per shipping address. Your order will ship when all items in your order are available for delivery.
Truck Delivery usually includes our premium White Glove Service – items are delivered to your home by appointment to your room of choice — and are then unpacked and fully assembled.
Flat Rate items that do not include White Glove Service are select lighting, oversized mirrors, rugs and headboards that need to be attached to a bed frame.
Ship to Store Delivery
Pick up at a local store for items that are not already in stock at the store. Customer is charged a competitive flat-rate shipping fee for most eligible orders.
Fees: Flat Rate fees, Ship to Store fees, and/or parcel carrier delivery and processing charges are shown under Shipping Rates, and will be applied in the Checkout Payment + Review page.
*Note: Standard shipping and processing charges are applied for each delivery address on an order. Next Day Delivery service is not available for some oversize items, Premium In-Home White Glove Delivery items, out of stock items, items on backorder, personalized/monogrammed items or for items shipped directly from the manufacturer. Please call for more information.

Truck Delivery – Unlimited Flat Rate
- Truck Delivery charge is a flat rate based on two factors: (1) the distance from our warehouse to your location, and (2) the amount of your overall order.
- Refer to the local/regional/national delivery zones table and rates tables.
- Available in the contiguous 48 states only.
Eligible items will show “Flat Rate Delivery” on the product page.
Please note: Smaller items (bedding, pillows, decorative accessories, baskets, etc.), do not qualify for flat rate shipping and will be delivered via UPS and subject to UPS delivery + processing charges.
Flat Rate items that do not include White Glove Service are select lighting, oversized mirrors, rugs and headboards that need to be attached to a bed frame.

DELIVERY TIMING
Speed of delivery depends on type of product, product availability, and proximity to metropolitan areas*. Backordered items will ship once back in stock, at no extra charge.

Arranging Delivery
Truck Delivery is by appointment Tuesday-Saturday in most major metropolitan areas, with Monday delivery available in some areas. Service to outlying areas may be restricted based on geographic location. A service representative will contact you to arrange a delivery date and confirm the appointment timeframe (typically a 4-hour window).

DELIVERY TIMING
Customer is quoted delivery timing at checkout based on store order volume and transit time from the distribution center to the store.
ARRANGING DELIVERY
Email notification will be sent when an order is ready for pickup. Please contact the store to arrange a pickup time once your item has arrived. All orders should be picked up within 7 days of arrival. – Standard and Next Day
Gift cards have slightly different rates and time frames from other products:
- Free shipping by USPS with standard delivery (5-7 business days).
- Next day delivery is available for an $10.00 charge — arrives in 1 business day if placed by 9am PT Mon-Fri.
- Orders placed after 9am PT Friday through Sunday will arrive on Tuesday.
Delivery Surcharges
Items that are bulky, heavy, or of limited availability may have a delivery surcharge in addition to standard delivery and processing charges. This charge is shown on the product page by the item price and is in addition to regular delivery and processing charges.
Sales Tax
Sales tax on the merchandise total is charged for items shipped to the following states and US territories: AL*, AR*, AZ*, CA*, CO*, CT*, DC*, FL*, GA*, IA, ID, IL*, IN*, KS*, KY*, LA*, MA, MD*, ME*, MI*, MN*, MO*, MS*, NC*, ND*, NE*, NJ*, NM*, NV*, NY*, OH*, OK, PA*, RI*, SC*, SD*, TN*, TX*, UT, VA*, VT*, WA*, WI*, WV*, WY and Puerto Rico*.
States and U.S. territories marked with an asterisk also collect taxes on shipping and processing charges. Except as otherwise noted, all sales are made by Williams-Sonoma DTC, Inc., and the local sales tax of the delivery destination is also charged. All sales shipped to Texas locations are made by Williams-Sonoma DTC Texas, Inc., and the sales tax is based on the location where the order was received. The local sales tax of the delivery destination is also charged. Orders delivered to California locations are F.O.B. destination point which means title passes in California.
Shipping to International Destinations
Through our partnership with Borderfree, we are pleased to provide an enhanced international shopping experience for customers in various countries. Through Borderfree, we present product prices in the international currency of our customer’s choice and a guaranteed order total.
NOTE: We regret this service is not available on mobile devices. To ship to international destinations, please visit our site from a desktop, laptop, or tablet computer, and access the “Ship To” control to select your desired destination outside of the U.S.

Shipping To USA from International Location
All international orders must have a ship-to destination outside the United States. We cannot support customers with international billing addresses shipping to U.S. addresses.
